Uh oh, we’re coming up on the end if the nonstop ‘buy-your-girlfriend-diamonds-to-show-you-really-love-her’ season. Ah, St. Valentine. Or as I like to refer, Singleness Awareness Day. Finally, we’ll have a break from the commercials that started in November that make men look like cheapskates and women look like golddiggers. Admittedly, I’ve never really been a fan of Valentine’s Day, regardless of my relationship status. (I would rather have money spent on new golf toys than flowers, they last longer).
