So apparently I’m 2 min off of elite team status. A little confused about these unofficial times that are posted (I personally clocked a 1:41:37 – a large difference), who knows whether the timing error was mine or theirs, but whatever, still sub 8.
Now, I’m thinking those 2 min (and more) could easily be gone considering:
1) never run a half before
2) I don’t do speedwork (or hills) .. regular training might be helpful
3) if I ran on a flat course (IE not ATL)
4) oh yeah, and actually getting sober before the race..
